BANKRUPTCY; SHAME OR FAME?

Depends who you are and if you came from Main Street or Wall Street.

If your a poor working slob from Main Street filing bankruptcy is shameful. Your labeled a "loser", a failure, didn't work hard enough, or was unable to see what was coming. Not only do you lose everything as in the 2008 Crash but you are then asked to bail out the very same people who took everything from you; Wall Street Banks and the people that ran them and drove them to ruin.

When someone from Wall Street files bankruptcy it's quiet a different story. First of they are praised, labeled a smart business man, someone who knew when to fold, a winner! Some, like Donald Trump for example will go so far as to call it an "art" and use it as bragging rights.

Besides being praised or punished the one major difference in the bankruptcy game is that the guy on Main Street actually looses everything they have; their homes, their cars, their savings, their credit rating, their reputations, and sometimes, even their will to go on. They are literally bankrupt.

That's a far cry different from what happens to those on Wall Street. Donald Trump, for example comes out of bankruptcy a richer person than he was when he went in. After multiple bankruptcies he still remains a billionaire. For Trump and people like him, bankruptcy brings fame.

If you are wondering why it works out that way the answer is simple. The game is "rigged"(see video)
